Using Submenus
Two of the menus in the Menu Bar, G/L and System, contain submenus. Submenus are indicated with a triangular symbol to the
right of the menu option's name.
To display a submenu, click on the main menu option identified with the
triangular symbol. You can then select items from the submenu just as you do from any
of the other menus in Contract Collector — using either the mouse or the
keyboard.
To display and select from a submenu using only the keyboard, highlight the
name of the submenu and press ENTER. The submenu appears to one side of the main
menu, with the first option highlighted. To select the highlighted option,
press ENTER.
To select any other option in the submenu, use the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW keys
to move the highlight from option to option. You can also type the first
letter of the option name to move the highlight directly to that item. When the
option you want is highlighted, press ENTER to select it.
