Records
A RECORD consists of the data entered into the fields that make up a window. At a
minimum, the data that make up a single record consist of all the data entered in
the key field and all of the other required fields. Additional data entered by
the user into optional fields or automatically generated by Contract Collector
for protected fields may or may not be part of the record.
There can be one or more records to view and edit per window. The system
automatically sorts groups of records alphabetically according to predefined
criteria (usually an ID number), depending on the type of record.
When you first open a window, no data is displayed. Using the COMMAND MENU, you can browse forward and backward through records, find a particular
record, and perform other functions.
