Backup/Restore Files Window
Use this window to create backup copies of Contract Collector's data files and
restore those files when necessary. This process does NOT backup the program
files of Contract Collector. You should periodically run a backup of your entire
hard drive so that you have a copy of your entire system. Files can be
corrupted and if you do not have backup files for replacement, the data or the program
will be lost.

Select a radio button to specify whether to backup the existing data files or
restore the data files from a previously created backup. For running a backup,
you will need new formatted disks for your floppy disk drive. Do not use used
disks. The more disks are used, the more likely they are to become corrupted.
You should maintain several backups, as one copy of your backup may become
corrupt.
If you are restoring files, you must have all the disks containing the data
files. Please be aware that the restore process will wipe out any data that has
been entered after the date of the backup you are using.
