Auto Charge Process
This process brings system records up-to-date for one or more companies, as of
the current computer date. The process gives you the option to update only
contract recurring charges and late fees, only recurring general ledger
transactions, or both. Included in the process is an optional AUTOMATIC CHARGE AUDIT REPORT which provides a detailed or summarized listing of all records updated during
the process.
Because of the effect the AUTO CHARGE PROCESS can have on your data, it is recommended that you limit access to certain
authorized users. In fact, you may want to limit the ability to run this process
to only one user — the system manager. See the SYSTEM MENU | SYSTEM SETUP MENU | USER SETUP WINDOW for information on how to limit access to this menu item.
Once you initiate this process, it can be stopped by pressing the v key. The system finishes with the file it is updating at the time you press v and then returns you to the AUTO CHARGE WINDOW.
